This active aquatic session focuses on arm movement execution. Enhance body awareness & improve exercise execution for deck or water teaching. Learn how to communicate perfect arm movement through a combination of review, practice & expert feedback. Experiment with new combinations of arm and leg patterns. New arm movement ideas included.

Dumbbells in the pool

Buoyant dumbbells are frequently used in aquatic exercise to increase intensity or provide variety. Often, the effects of this equipment on participants' alignment, muscles and joints is not fully considered or understood. This workshop will explore:
- Brief description of muscle contractions
- Exercise/alignment analysis
- Pros & cons, tips and precautions
- Exercise options in the pool
